Hi! I'm Melissa, a 30-something sales analyst with a love for all things home and crafty. I have two fantastic kids under 4, a skittish kitty who loves to lounge on my lap and a supportive and wonderful husband. We have recently bought a home built in the late 90s which means we have a lot of yellowed trim, burnished brass, and wallpaper. Even with all of that, our house is our home and we love it! The backyard is home to birds, squirrels, turtles, deer, and the list goes on. The squirrels alone are hours of entertainment for my 3 year old.
When I'm not working and taking care of my family, I love to putter around the house doing little projects, I am also an avid reader and love to sew and cook. I'm also a terrible blogger, so fingers crossed that I stick with it this time!
